ENTREPRENEURIAL THINKING: NEED OF THE HOUR

Entrepreneurship focuses on business plan development and control, start-up establishment, management, team-building, market strategies, human resource management, leadership, innovation, intellectual property, economy, and network market research.
As a part of the KIS Enrichment Program, an interesting workshop was organized with Rishihood University on 9 August 2023 to engross the students of Grades 9 & 10 in understanding the concept of Entrepreneurial thinking as the need of the hour. The resource person for this workshop was Ms. Priyanka Sahay, Manager at Rishihood University.
The workshop began with an engaging activity, wherein the students were asked to share their own understanding of entrepreneurship. And, then they explained the meaning of entrepreneurship, its social impact, and the kind of skills required for developing new ideas.
This was followed by an interactive activity, in which the students were shown famous case studies involving a detailed discussion on the journey of becoming a young entrepreneur, in turn assisting them to acknowledge the significance of developing entrepreneurial thinking.
The workshop ended with sharing of insights on the process of developing entrepreneurial thinking by the students. Overall, this workshop served as a perfect opportunity for the students of Grades 9 & 10 to gain knowledge about the concept of Entrepreneurship, and the impact of developing entrepreneurial thinking, in turn facilitating them towards creating a skill set for better opportunities to grow and prosper as a whole.
MAJOR KEY LEARNING SHARED BY THE STUDENTS AFTER THE WORKSHOP:
•The aspect of becoming the person who solved their problems, and not ponder over them.

•Anyone can become an entrepreneur.
•You can start your journey from anywhere, and anytime even if you believe you don’t have the expenses or equipment.
